What a partnership adds
The platform behind every brand we acquire
Your name, your team and your market stay exactly where they are. What changes is the infrastructure behind them, and how much of it you have to build yourself.
Capital and liquidity
Market-rate payouts, rolled equity for founders who want the upside, and balance sheet behind growth in your market.
Central functions, handed off
Finance, HR, IT, revenue management and marketing run centrally, so you stop running the parts of the business you never wanted to.
A founder-led network
60+ elite brands sharing what works. At this scale, there is very little the group hasn't already solved once.
In plain terms
What is Awayday?
Awayday acquires and partners with leading local vacation rental management companies in the United States. Each company keeps its own name, team and market knowledge, and gains the capital, technology and central support of the wider group.
Together, the Awayday brands manage 15,000+ units across 11 states, from Gulf Coast beaches to Rocky Mountain ski towns, and host 1,200,000+ guests a year. We have completed 20+ partnerships since 2021, and the group is founder-led: over 30% of the company is held by the founders who joined it.
One market, one leading brand
A vacation rental business is a local business. Crews have to be nearby, and rates have to follow the rhythm of a specific town: the beach weeks on the Gulf Coast, the ski season in the Rockies, the lake summers in between. That local knowledge is the asset we are buying, which is why every brand we acquire keeps its own name and its own team on the ground. We partner with one leading company per market.
What the group adds is the part that is expensive and slow to build alone. Shared distribution, revenue management priced against live demand, enterprise technology, and central finance, HR and marketing teams. Founders who join stop carrying the overhead of running a company and go back to running a market.
Who this site is for
Founders and owners of vacation rental management companies who are weighing what comes next: a market-rate payout without leaving, an administrative hand-off, rolled equity in the wider group, or a full exit with the team and legacy intact. Every conversation is confidential and moves at the pace you set.
We also hear from capital partners, lenders and advisors working in vacation rental M&A, and from operators who want to work inside the group rather than sell to it. Our partner with us page goes deeper on structures and process, our footprint shows where we already operate, and contact us reaches a person, not a queue.

- What partnership and exit structures does Awayday offer?
- Four paths: one-time liquidity without leaving the business, an administrative hand-off where you keep running the company, rolled equity so you share in the upside of the wider group, or a full exit with your team and legacy preserved.
- Do I keep my brand name after selling to Awayday?
- Yes. We partner with one leading company per market and keep the local name, team and reputation intact. We do not rebrand or consolidate the brands guests and homeowners already trust.
- What size company does Awayday acquire?
- Whether you manage 5 homes or 500, excellence matters more than unit count. We look for the top local brand in a vibrant market, with a strong reputation, a good team and homeowners who stay for years.
- Where does Awayday operate today?
